Subconscious Mind !
Awaken I feel from within !
It happened just a day before.
I had caught up with my dear friend, Vinit Patil over coffee and some random conversations.
Out of nowhere, he asked me some questions which made me blog down this post.
The questions he asked me were :
1) Which number is it that has letter "A" in its spelling?
2) Tell me ten words that do not contain letter "A" in them.
3) In a race of 10 people if you surpass the one running at the 2nd position, which position would you finish at?
4) Name three consecutive days without using Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
5) How is "12th" spelled as?
6) If " Y- E- S" is pronounced as yes, what is " E- Y- E- S" pronounced as?
...well I can't remember the other 2-3 questions now!
And yes, the main reason behind writing this down is, It took me some nice little amount of time to let the questions sink in and then answer them.
(And all this time my friend kept laughing over my dumbness! Not that he is so smart, he had just watched some you tube regarding those questions that he asked me 😜 )
After all the time I wondered, how we have become used to not using our subconsciousness and drag our cursors to Google everytime we face a question?
How dependent we have already become on things other than ourselves, indirectly making us (mind and brain) lazy and inactive?
Agreed we live an era of super advanced technology, not realizing how much of our lives are getting occupied by the same.
To a realization that I dawned upon, now I have decided
- to make less use of technology (as less as possible)
- to forget my phone at home for a day atleast.
- start using the Rubik's cube instead of playing on phone.
P.S. - I also did a small survey by asking the same questions to my little cousins and colleagues.
My cousins are still brilliant enough that they answered those questions within no time and I stood surprised.( non of them use mobile phones.)
On the other hand, my colleagues had no answers to the questions. ( all of them use mobile phones, obviously!)
*Wake up folks*
